This movie demonstrates the love of God. Directed by Mel Gibson also an Australian-American actor, film director, producer and screenwriter. This movie touch my heart and encouraging me to serve God with all my heart. This kind of torture and suffering breaks my heart into pieces. It is very clear that Jesus saves us.
This movie shows the last 12 hours of Jesus Christ on Nazareth. Jesus is betrayed by Judas through denying Him. He says that he is not follower of Jesus. But before that happens, Jesus talked to Judas and says "you will betraying be and denying me three times" but Judas replied "it is impossible, I believe in you as a son of God". Then Jesus is condemned to death for blasphemy and brought before Pontius Pilate the Roman governor of Judea for sentencing. The roaring crowd demand Jesus death which forced Pilate to declare his crucifixion. Jesus suffered and made to carry his cross up to the hill outside Jerusalem called Golgotha. There Jesus nailed to the cross. The unbelievers laughed and keep on blaspheming Him. Then they said, If you are the messiah save your self. Then before Jesus lose his breathe, he prayed and ask God the father to forgive them for they don't know what they are doing.
Lucifer thoughts that through crucifixion, he will defeat God but he's wrong. Because through Jesus crucifixion, we are saved and free from the curse of death. And we have given a chance to enter the kingdom of God which is the heaven. Only if we repent and believe Jesus Christ as our savior.
